The Paraclete whom Yeshua promised his disciples that his Eternal heavenly Father would send to them, John 14. This promise of the coming of the Comforter was fulfilled on the Day of Pentecost, Acts 2:28. Therefore, it is the Spirit of Truth; the Holy Spirit is the Leader Teacher, Guide, and restrainer of the Church of GOD, a Church, not a book or men! The Apostles were just used by the Holy Ghost to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of GOD, Most High, and repentance from their sins, so that they who believe could be baptized and received the Gospel of the Kingdom of GOD and be saved. it is true that the New Testament was not compiled and written until sometime in the second century ad, in the common era. So, it was after the coming of the Paraclete that the Apostle received the authority to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom. Acts 1-2 and Acts 3: 21, Peter’s preaching about the Kingdom of GOD, according to Scripture. (TNDL)
