.That depends on which god they were talking about. My GOD, Yahweh Elyon Yeshua, the Anointed One and New Divine Logos, is Eternal, and we exist in and outside His creation. In Him we live, and move and have our being. Those who are obedient to His WILL and purpose, He gives eternal life and they shall never perish; they will flourish in Him and with Him, forevermore.
