THE PEOPLE OF CUSH

Ethiopians - The Cushite people!
They are like a tree with many branches. One day they will come together as a strong family. The Father will stretch out His hand to gather them, say the Most High El. (JRSL)

Dimitrios Toris wrote:  It should be noted that the name “Aethiops / Αιθίοψ” comes from the Greeks, they called the dark skinned people of Africa and Asia the burnt/black faces, the Greek word for "burnt/black" was "Aeth/Αιθ" and the word for "face" or “ look” was “Opsis”, so the words Aeth plus Ops became Ethiops that equals to “Ethiopian”.

Cush also Kush
1. An ancient region of northeast Africa where the biblical descendants of Cush (son of Ham and grandson of Noah) settled. It is often identified with Ethiopia.
2. An ancient kingdom of Nubia in northern Sudan. It flourished from the 11th century B.C. to the 4th century A.D., when its capital fell to the Ethiopians.
