Mercy on Jacob
14 For the Lord will have mercy on Jacob, and will still choose Israel, and settle them in their own land. 7 Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the house.
2 And the priests could not enter into the house of the Lord, because the glory of the Lord had filled the Lord's house.
3 And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth forever.
4 Then the king and all the people offered sacrifices before the Lord.
5 And king Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty and two thousand oxen, and a hundred and twenty thousand sheep: so the king and all the people dedicated the house of God.
6 And the priests waited on their offices: the Levites also with instruments of music of the Lord, which David the king had made to praise the Lord, because his mercy endureth for ever, when David praised by their ministry; and the priests sounded trumpets before them, and all Israel stood.
7 Moreover, Solomon hallowed the middle of the court that was before the house of the Lord: for there he offered burnt offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings because the brasen altar which Solomon had made was not able to receive the burnt offerings, and the meat offerings, and the fat.
8 Also at the same time Solomon kept the feast seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt.
9 And in the eighth day they made a solemn assembly: for they kept the dedication of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days.
10 And on the three and twentieth day of the seventh month he sent the people away into their tents, glad and merry in heart for the goodness that the Lord had shewed unto David, and to Solomon, and to Israel his people.
11 Thus Solomon finished the house of the Lord, and the king's house: and all that came into Solomon's heart to make in the house of the Lord, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.
12 And the Lord appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice.
13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

This a lesson with intense details forewarning of future events that will be occurring at the end of the age, when all of GOD, Most High's children, who are going through the tribulation period, will have to rely on the Lord for their sustenance, because only those who have the 'MARK OF THE BEAST, CAN BUY OR SELL'. So, it follows, we who refused to take the mark of the beast, will have none of what is needed to sustain ourselves and our families. IN MATHEW 24, YESHUA IS PREDICTING THE FUTURE END TIMES EVENTS THAT SHALL BE TAKING PLACE!
He spoke about natural disasters, calamities, such as earthquakes in different places, wars, and rumors of war, pestilences, even war 3, according to Zechariah 5, due to humankind rebellion against The Highest and his righteous ways. Also, how the Devil, Satan, has been working overtime deceiving the nations and people in the world, because he hates humanity so much, wanting to kill and destroy them. While El-Elyon, on the other side, wants to save the people and nations from their iniquities and abominations and perversions. However, because He will not tolerate wickedness and unrighteousness any longer, giving them enough time to repent and change their ungodly ways, He forewarned that there is coming a day, at the end of the age, He shall judge the world in righteousness. SPIRITUAL EVIL WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES

And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

THE NATION OF ISRAEL SPLIT INTO TWO SEPARATE NATIONS
“Indeed, just as the children after the death of King Solomon’s Idolatry, the Nation of Israel split into two separate nations. The northern was called the House of Israel with ten of the tribes, and the house of Judah with two and a half tribes. The nation of Israel started out good, but later on they turned away from the God of Israel and served Satan under the umbrella of Baal, the Lord of Satan, the Devil, and other pagans idolatrous worship; therefore, nothing is new under the Sun. The Seer prophet Isaiah says in chapter 5, ‘my people went into captivity, due to their lack of knowledge.’ Yeshua of Nazareth did say, many are the called, but few are the chosen ones. At first, these, the seeds of The Most High's truth of His righteousness are sowed in the minds of the seekers of the truth, but the ‘EVIL ONE’ comes and spread his lies, deception and the Spirit of disobedience in the minds of those servants who were not planted on good ground to cause them to stumble and fall to Satan’s tricks by making false promises of fame, prosperity, and power. So many of those whose beginnings were sincere at first, like ancient Israel, fell for the things of the GOD of MAMMON, prosperity, fame, and power. Much of what is happening in the Christian churches at this end of the ages, as a result of these falling ministers, not having a continuous 'PRAYING RELATIONSHIP WITH YESHUA AND HIS ETERNAL HEAVENLY FATHER.’ Show me a servant of the Highest, and I will show you a praying and worshiping servant of God! The Lord, Yeshua Michael, is calling his people of the world of Babylon. He said, ‘if my people who are called by my name, would humble themselves and pray and seek my face, then will I hear from heaven and heal their land.’ Ancient Israel sinned greatly against their God. In the last Acts post, we said that the Holy Spirit being at work is a key feature of the journey that Paul and his team took from Miletus to Jerusalem. Its a matter that has caused a lot of confusion trying to tie up the loose ends of what was going on. Look at the verses:
1. To the Ephesian elders Paul says that the Holy Spirit has made them overseers of the church (20:28). But the Spirit is compelling and saying something different to Paul - to go to Jerusalem. The Spirit testifies to him that in every city afflictions await (20:22-23)
2. When they reach Tyre, the disciples in that town urge Paul not to go to Jerusalem "through the Spirit" (21:4)
3. When they reach Caesarea and stay in the prophetically-gifted household of Philip, Agabus prophecies that the Spirit says that Paul will be bound and delivered to the Gentiles (21:11), and the disciples - both from Caesarea and from Paul's own team - urge him not to go. He won't be dissuaded and finally, they cave in saying "let the will of the Lord be done." (21:14)
What is going on here? Did Paul hear right to start with but the Spirit say something different later? If Paul heard right, why do the Tyre disciples urge Paul "through the Spirit" to do the opposite? Some have concluded that Paul pressed on in blind and foolish zeal, ignoring what the Spirit said.
Agabus' prophecy is the easy one to figure out, because he is simply reiterating what God has already revealed to Paul - the imprisonment and affliction await. The people are worried for him and, interpreting it as an indication that he shouldn't go, urge him. But at no point in Caesarea does the Spirit forbid him to go. It is an interesting example of people hearing the Holy Spirit correctly but applying what they have heard incorrectly.
But Tyre is more interesting because it seems that the the disciples were being guided by the Spirit when they told Paul not to go. John Stott says that the prediction was divine while the urging was human, and I think that's an OK distinction to make. But David Gooding adds a very helpful comment, to the effect that while the Holy Spirit constrains Paul to go, the Tyre account shows that he is not a robot, and that the Spirit leaves whether to do so up to Paul's free choice. "He didn't have to go if he didn't want to", Gooding concludes. He also says how inclined we are to receive positively guidance not to do something that we don't want to do! Paul was given a get-out clause if he wanted it, and didn't take it.

He won't be dissuaded and finally, they cave in saying "let the will of the Lord be done." (21:14)
What is going on here? Did Paul hear right to start with but the Spirit say something different later? If Paul heard right, why do the Tyre disciples urge Paul "through the Spirit" to do the opposite? Some have concluded that Paul pressed on in blind and foolish zeal, ignoring what the Spirit said.
Agabus' prophecy is the easy one to figure out, because he is simply reiterating what God has already revealed to Paul - the imprisonment and affliction await. The people are worried for him and, interpreting it as an indication that he shouldn't go, urge him. But at no point in Caesarea does the Spirit forbid him to go. It is an interesting example of people hearing the Holy Spirit correctly but applying what they have heard incorrectly.
But Tyre is more interesting because it seems that the the disciples were being guided by the Spirit when they told Paul not to go. John Stott says that the prediction was divine while the urging was human, and I think that's an OK distinction to make. But David Gooding adds a very helpful comment, to the effect that while the Holy Spirit constrains Paul to go, the Tyre account shows that he is not a robot, and that the Spirit leaves whether to do so up to Paul's free choice. "He didn't have to go if he didn't want to", Gooding concludes. He also says how inclined we are to receive positively guidance not to do something that we don't want to do! Paul was given a get-out clause if he wanted it, and didn't take it.

GLORY TO THE MOST HIGH GOD BECAUSE HE REIGNS IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH
“Glory to the Most High GOD, because He Reigns forever in heaven and on earth. He is the great all-wise Architect of the universal Kosmic worlds within worlds. He is the Almighty eternal heavenly Father, according to Isaiah 9:6, and God of the house of Israel and the house of Judah. Israel, He shall gather his backsliding wife and cleanse her and put on clean white clothes on her and remarry her, according to Ezekiel 37, after He put His life and light in them again. Then, He shall rejoin the House of Judah with the ten tribes of Israel and make them one great nation, as it was before the death of King Solomon. YAHWEH ELYON MICHAEL’S LOVE FOR HIS WIFE, ISRAEL
ISRAEL: The Wife of YEHOVAH God!
The northern ten-tribed Kingdom of Israel is depicted in the Bible as an unfaithful wife whom YEHOVAH God divorced and sent away into Assyrian bondage. YEHOVAH's prophets had warned the people of impending judgment for their sins, making it very clear that they would not escape punishment if they persisted in breaking the commandments, statutes and judgments of YEHOVAH God and taking part in the idolatrous practices of the surrounding nations. Yet, in the midst of their evil ways, YEHOVAH God held out the hope of a coming glorious deliverance when the unfaithful wife would be cleansed and the bill of divorcement blotted out.

In Christian circles it is well known that the biblical nation of Israel was chosen by YEHOVAH God to be His peculiar people. What is not so widely understood is what that "chosen" status means. They were chosen, not for their own power and glory, but to be a servant, and a blessing to all the nations of the earth -- as YEHOVAH God promised in His covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, when He declared,
"I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great...and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed" (Genesis 12:2-3 and 28:14).
And the prophet Isaiah stated plainly, "But thou, Israel, art my [YEHOVAH's] servant, Jacob whom I have chosen" (Isaiah 41:8).
KING DAVID, THE MAN OF GOD MOST HIGH’S OWN HEART!
“WHAT MADE DAVID DIFFERENT FROM ALL THE OTHER HOLY SEER PROPHETS and MEN OF GOD? David loved God and His Commandments more than anything, and God’s personal commands that He gave him, more than anything else! He did not see tradition and ideas of others, including King Saul and his brothers, as important as his Love For God and his personal commands. He had one focus point, which was to do whatever God asked him to do. David had complete faith and trust in the God of his youth, from a very young age. David developed a strong loving relationship with and for his Lord, Yesheh, and nothing or no one could separate him from the Love of his God. Insomuch so, that once when his life was in deadly danger, he wrote the 23 Psalm and the 91 Psalm. To this day, these two Psalms serve as a reminder of God's continuous protection for His children. When we make Him our good Shepherd; and also Psalm 91 that states when His children dwell in the ‘SECRET’ place of the Highest, shall stay under the shadow of the Almighty! King David was the only man or only one, whom God Most High Himself said, that David was, and still is, a Man of God’s own heart. TNDL: Question: "How could David be considered a man after God’s own heart?"
We learn much of David’s character in the book of Psalms as he opened up his life for all to examine. David’s life was a portrait of success and failure, and the biblical record highlights the fact that David was far from perfect. But what made David a cut above the rest was that his heart was pointed toward God. He had a deep desire to follow God’s will and do “everything” God wanted him to do. He was a man after God’s own heart. Let’s look at some characteristics of David’s life to discover what that entails:
Part of why David is called a man after God’s own heart is that he had absolute faith in God. Nowhere in Scripture is this point better illustrated than in 1 Samuel 17 where David as a young shepherd boy fearlessly slew the Philistine, Goliath. Shortly before the duel, we see direct evidence of David’s faith when David says, “‘The LORD who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.’ And Saul said to David, ‘Go, and the LORD be with you!’” (verse 37). David was fully aware that God was in control of his life, and he had faith that God would deliver him from impending danger. How else would one venture into a potentially fatal situation with such calm and confidence? David knew early on in life that God was to be trusted and obeyed. As we see in Scripture, David’s faith pleased God, and God rewards David for his faithfulness.
Another reason David was a man after God’s own heart is that he absolutely loved God’s Law. Of the 150 psalms in the Bible, David is credited for writing over half of them. Writing at various and often troubling times in his life, David repeatedly mentioned how much he loved God’s perfect Word. We find a beautiful example of this in Psalm 119:47–48: “For I delight in your commands because I love them. I lift up my hands to your commands, which I love, and I meditate on your decrees.” It is not hard to see his complete adoration for God’s Word. Also notice how David “meditates” on God’s statutes. God granted David understanding and wisdom through daily meditation. We would do well to not only read God’s Word but also think about it throughout the day, for God loves us to think about Him. “Blessed are they who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart. They do nothing wrong; they walk in his ways” (Psalm 119:2–3).
David was a man after God’s own heart in that he was truly thankful. “I wash my hands in innocence, and go about your altar, O LORD, proclaiming aloud your praise and telling of all your wonderful deeds” (Psalm 26:6–7). David’s life was marked by seasons of great peace and prosperity as well as times of fear and despair. But through all of the seasons in his life, he never forgot to thank the Lord for everything that he had. It is truly one of David’s finest characteristics. “Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!” (Psalm 100:4, ESV). As followers of Jesus Christ, we would do well to follow David’s lead of offering praise through thanksgiving to our Lord.
After he sinned, David was truly repentant. David’s sin with Bathsheba is recorded in 2 Samuel 11:2–5. The mighty fall hard, and David’s fall included adultery, lying, and murder. He had sinned against God, and he admits it in 2 Samuel 12:13: “David said to Nathan, ‘I have sinned against the LORD.’ And Nathan said to David, ‘The LORD also has put away your sin; you shall not die.’” But admitting our sin and asking for forgiveness is only half of the equation. The other half is repentance, and David did that as well. Psalm 51 is David’s prayer of repentance to God: “Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin!" (Psalm 51:1–2).
In conclusion, David was a man after God’s own heart because he demonstrated his faith and was committed to following the Lord. Yes, his faith was tested on a grand scale, and he failed at times. But after his sin he sought and received the Lord’s forgiveness. In the final analysis, David loved God’s Law and sought to follow it exactly. As a man after God’s own heart, David is a role model for all of us.
